Site update
Over the last two weeks, work has progressed rapidly toward making Petra Rocks My World! a multilingual website. My deepest thanks go out to everyone who has volunteered to help translate the site into German, Spanish, and Portuguese.
At the same time we are working on translations, I have been redesigning the website. The new design is slim, trim, more colorful, and more compatible. I think you will be surprised how much faster the pages load, especially if you use a dial-up modem. Site navigation should be much easier, as well.
As well as a new design, I plan to develop a content management system for the site. This should make switching between languages easier, and it will make it easier for me to maintain the site overall. PHP and MySQL programming are new for me, so this part of the project will take longer.
Unfortunately it's still unclear in which order things will go online. I will make sure to give you all the details as I figure them out. :)
