Want to bring Petra to your town? It's possible, even if you've never promoted a concert before!
Before you make any decisions, realize that promoting a concert is a big responsibility. Consider the following:
- Do you have a passion and vision for music ministry?
- Do you feel God leading you to do this?
- Can you organize a group to help share the responsibilities?
- Can you raise the funds?
Ticket revenue alone probably won't cover the band, sound and lights, venue, hotel rooms, transportation, catering, and advertising expenses - Are you willing to do the work?
You and your group will have to schedule a date, book a venue, rent equipment, make hotel and travel arrangements, develop a promotional advertising campaign, and recruit people for day-of-show work.
