Help promote Petra concerts!

This information was originally sent to subscribers of the now-defunct petrafanclub.com email newsletter. I've included it on my website so even more fans can see it, pitch in, and help the band!

As Petra continues to find new ways and new methods to bring their music into the public eye, it's time to call on you, our valued supporters. We're asking for your help in searching for contacts that are interested in having a Petra concert or a John Schlitt show.

Petra has always been about ministry. The ministry takes place "out there" -- in the concert halls, at the fairgrounds, at the festivals, and even in the hockey arenas -- any place where the band is invited to go and perform.

We're asking you to please check with your local churches if they are interested in a band that is real, that is straightforward in its message, that rocks live -- and most importantly -- a band that has ALWAYS put the Lord Jesus Christ and ministry as its first priority.

Think "outside the box" too -- check with civic organizations, county fair associations, theater groups, foundations, sports organizations, youth organizations, etc. Don't be limited by thinking "church only." Ask if they would be interested in a concert with either Petra or John.

If they are interested, send an email with the pertinent information to Sue Dempster who will in turn forward these to the appropriate parties.

After all, Jesus said "go" and getting back to the street is what Petra is all about.
